A paste made from ground sesame seeds, the major ingredient used in hummus.
Also known as glycerol and glycerine, it's a colorless, odorless, viscous liquid used to retain moisture and add sweetness to foods.
An Italian dessert made with egg yolks, sweet wine (marsala wine) and sugar, which are combined then whisked over simmering water until a light custard consistency is reached. It can be served by itself or as a sauce over fresh fruit, pastry, etc.
